Body found in submerged car at Fort Worth country club
FORT WORTH, Texas - The body of an elderly man was found in a submerged vehicle in Fort Worth on Thursday morning.
What we know:
Fort Worth police said someone spotted a silver vehicle in a pond at the Rivercrest Country Club on Western Avenue around 8 a.m.
Divers were called in to investigate. They found the body of an elderly man inside the vehicle.

North Texas Flooding
Heavy rain and flooding swept through the Dallas-Fort Worth area overnight Wednesday into early Thursday.
Several flood warnings were issued as rainfall totals reached 5 inches in some areas. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport recorded 2.8 inches of rain, setting a new daily record for Jan. 29.
The excessive rainfall caused high water in several locations, including White Rock Lake.
