Here's To You: The Knit Wits & Rollin Phipps
The Knit Wits live in the Edgemere Senior Living Community and have made 264 caps, 18 blankets and baby bears for patients at Children’s Hospital. For 20 years, Rollin Phipps has led an Arlington toy drive. This year he delivered six carloads of toys and hundreds of dollars in gift cards.
Here's To You: The Soulful Lady Gang
The Soulful Lady Gang is a dance group that promotes body positivity and energy. They're also active in the community with Thanksgiving and back-to-school drives. With winter starting, they hope to give new or gently used coats to 100 kids in time for Christmas.
Here's To You: The Hot Flashes
The Hot Flashes are women from North Texas who love to dance. They rehearse twice a week. Since 2010, they've performed for free for all ages. They hope the dance routine shows audiences that doing what you love and volunteering keeps you healthy, young and happy.
HERE'S TO YOU: FaLaLa Lakewood
"FaLaLa Lakewood" took to the streets in the rain to help kids supported by the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center's Holiday of Hope. Lakewood residents collected $82,861 in cash and toys to help 1,600 children affected by abuse.

FlexEtc is a new neighbor of Minnie's Food Pantry in Plano. The storage company gave two of its warehouses to the food pantry to store its shelf-stable Holiday food. The company and Strudel3D unloaded four truckloads of food and reloaded for a giveaway.
Here's To You: Walnut Grove High School
Students at Walnut Grove High School collected more than 2,000 toys for their Wally's Red Wagon toy drive. The drive was started when the school opened last year. The toy drive was established by Principal Dustin Toth to establish a tradition of campus values, empathy and putting others before self.
Here's To You: Trinity Christian Academy Lower School students
Trinity Christian Academy Lower School students gave 1,212 gift boxes to Operation Christmas Child. The toys, hygiene items and school supplies will go to children facing war, poverty and natural disasters. The students wrote notes of support and prayed over the boxes.
Here's To You: The MW Cares Foundation
The Tarrant Area Food Bank gave Thanksgiving dinner to 2,000 families. For the fifth year, the MW Cares Foundation bought turkeys and chickens. Albertsons and Tom Thumb donated dry goods. The food bank gave fruit and veggies, and The Big Good with Coach Gary Patterson helped pack it all up.
Here's To You: Michael Moon
Before retiring, Michael Moon had a 46-year-long career in law enforcement and was the police chief of the Ovilla Police Department. He'd been a patient at Methodist Midlothian and was impressed by how everyone was treated. Since 2023, he's given 635 volunteer hours of service.
Here's To You: The M.O.M. Crew
The M.O.M. Crew dances to stay fit and volunteers in the DFW area. Moms and grandmoms team up with the Chris Howell Foundation to distribute food to those in need.
Here's To You: Juliette Fowler Communities
25 residents at Juliette Fowler Communities teamed up with Dallas Sandwich Sundays to make sandwiches for homeless people. Residents buy turkey, ham, cheese, peanut butter and jelly. The center provides the bread. They make up to 285 sandwiches three times a month.

The Tarrant Area Food Bank got a winning game plan from the Dallas Cowboys, Pro Frac Services, HOF Charles Haley and Cowboys Mascot Rowdy. The work and donations from the volunteers tackled hunger with more than 100,000 meals for neighbors in need in 13 North Texas counties.
