Saturday brings more heat, and even MORE humidity!
Upper 90s again this afternoon... the difference? The dewpoint will increase 5-7 degrees, making afternoon heat indices soar into the low 100s. A few isolated showers may form west, but won't make progress into the Metroplex. Storm chances stay below 20%. Winds will be a bit more cooperative this afternoon at 10-20 mph out of the south.
Tonight, temps are back down to the upper 70s with quiet conditions.
Tomorrow? Just like today. Upper 90s with a heat index around 104-106°. A front moves in from the NW in the evening hours increasing rain chances 20-30%, most of which will fall north of I-20. Chances persist in the early morning hours of the 4th, and decrese to 10% by the afternoon. Highs will yet again be in the upper 90s and the HX will hover around 106°.
Ready for the triples? Me neither, but we should finally break the century mark by the middle of next week.
