Chicago Bears ask to interview Cowboys Coach Mike McCarthy
DALLAS - The Chicago Bears may be looking for a new head coach, and they have requested permission to interview Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy.
McCarthy is under contract with the Cowboys until next Tuesday. That’s when his five-year deal with the team expires.
The Cowboys only have exclusive negotiating rights with him until Jan. 14.
