Trinity River in Dallas at minor flood stage level

The Trinity River in downtown Dallas was at its highest levels in recent years on Monday.

The river was at a minor flood stage level at 35.7 feet. Flood stage begins at 30 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

Day after day after day of rains have doubled the height of the river since the start of May, when the river was at approximately 16 feet high.

Moderate flood stage for the Trinity is 38 feet.
