Missing: Daughter of former MLB pitcher not seen since August 22
AUSTIN, Texas - Authorities are looking for an Austin single mother of three and daughter of former Texas Longhorns and Major League Baseball pitcher Greg Swindell.
Greg posted about 29-year-old Brenna Swindell's disappearance on his Facebook page.
The Austin Police Department Missing Persons Unit says Brenna was last seen on August 22 at around 10:20 p.m. at Poodies Hilltop Bar located at 22308 State Highway 71 in Spicewood.
Police say Brenna was there with her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, who is pictured below with her. Neither Brenna or Guidry have been seen since.
Both of Brenna and Guidry's phones have been turned off since August 23.

Court documents obtained by FOX 7 are shedding new light on the July 7 incident that led to an assault warrant being issued against Morgan Guidry.
Those documents state Swindell said Guidry tried to strangle her, that he grabbed her and slammed her head to the floor. Those documents also state that Swindell sustained serious head injuries, her ear was bleeding, and that Guidry had a rifle and threatened to kill her, but then fled the scene with the gun.
Speaking with FOX 7 on the phone Monday afternoon, Morgan Guidry’s father, Morgan Guidry Sr., acknowledged his son was charged with assault in July when he got in a fight with Swindell, but regarding this latest disappearance he said, "This isn’t under duress at all. He isn’t a violent individual…He’s super chill." Guidry Sr. went on to say, "They decided to make a run for the [Canadian] border…it was a bad call."
Guidry also sent FOX 7 notes that he says were left by his son. One read, "I went back to spend one last night with her." Another said, "Off to travel the world. Love, Morgan and Brenna. See you on the other side."
APD says Brenna hasn't been in normal contact with her family and friends and there is concern for her safety and immediate welfare.
Brenna is described as:
- White female
- 5'4"
- About 120-140 pounds
- Brown hair and hazel eyes
- Tattoos on both arms
She is possibly in a white 2022 KIA Carnival with Texas plates VFS7528.
The tags were reportedly seen on I-25 in Colorado on August 23 and there were possible sightings of Guidry and the van in Colorado Springs on August 25.
You're asked to contact 9-1-1 if you see Brenna or Guidry or contact the APD Missing Person's Unit at 512-974-5350.
