Grilled salmon taco recipe from Miriam Cocina Latina
How to make Grilled salmon tacos with árbol chile salsa, sautéed onions, shaved cabbage and spicy cilantro sauce on corn tortillas:
Ingredients:
- Fresh Salmon - 16 ounces
- Chile de árbol 4 ounces (seeds and tops removed)
- 1 cup whole garlic bulbs
- Canola oil 2 cups
- Kosher salt 1/2 cup
Directions:
1. In a skillet heat the oil and sauté the árbol peppers and garlic until aromatic.
2. Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth and set aside.
3. Rub the salmon in the chile de árbol salsa and add to a hot frying pan with canola oil until cooked. Approximately 8 minutes.
4. Serve with warm corn or flour tortillas and drizzle with the extra salsa. Garnish with avocado slices and sesame seeds.
Note: Other options: fresh cilantro, shredded cabbage, radishes, avocado and lime wedges.
