Ellis Co. volunteer firefighter takes plea deal in sausage sodomy case
An Ellis County volunteer firefighter accused of sodomizing a male recruit with a sausage took a plea deal for a lesser charge on Thursday.
Keith Wisakowsky, 27, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault Thursday and was sentenced to a year in jail. But that sentence was suspended and he was placed on two years of community supervision.
Wisakowsky will pay a $2,000 fine and was ordered not to have contact with the victim.
Charges against the seven other people in the case will be dropped as a result of today's plea bargain. Prosecutors say the agreement was made with the victim's consent.
