Donald Trump to hold rally in Fort Worth on Friday
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump will return to North Texas on Friday for a rally in Fort Worth.
A large crowd nearly filled the American Airlines Center in Dallas last summer, one of the early signs that Republican voters were open to the unconventional candidate.
Months later, Trump has won three of the first four contests in the battle for the GOP presidential nomination. The Friday rally will be held just four days before Super Tuesday, when Texas is the biggest delegate prize up for grabs.
Doors open at the Fort Worth Convention Center at 10 a.m. Friday and the rally is set to start at noon. People can get tickets for free at donaldjtrump.com.
A recent poll by the Texas Tribune showed Trump closing in on Sen. Ted Cruz. Even though Texas is home for Cruz, he only held an 8 point lead over Trump in the poll.
