North Texas New Year's Eve events to celebrate the start of 2025
DALLAS - Do you have New Year’s Eve plans yet?
Whether you’re celebrating with the kids this year or getting rid of them by 9 p.m., North Texas is full of activities to help you ring in the new year.
Here’s a list of things to do on New Year’s Eve in DFW:
Lone Star NYE in Downtown Dallas
Reunion Tower is kicking off the year with a spectacular 15,000-pound fireworks show.
The public can enjoy a 259-LED light display accompanied by more than 5,000 pyrotechnic special effects at midnight.
The show will last about 10 minutes.
Sundance Square Fireworks Show in Downtown Fort Worth
Known as the largest in-person New Year’s Eve celebration in Texas, this free event features live music, food trucks, bar stations, and a fireworks show.
Performers, including jugglers and aerialists, will entertain attendees in front of Sundance Square’s 82-foot Christmas tree.
Organizers expect a crowd of 40,000 to 50,000 people.
Events begin at 6 p.m. on Dec. 31.
Noon Year’s Eve at the Dallas Arboretum
Looking for a kid-friendly way to celebrate? The Dallas Arboretum is hosting a daytime party perfect for families.
Activities include a bubble dance party, educational exhibits, and a ball drop at noon.
Admission is valid from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Children’s Garden.
Swiftie Family NYE Party
Seeing glitter on the floor after the party? Starting at 5 p.m., the HUB is hosting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve bash.
The event includes a Taylor Swift tribute artist, face painting, glitter tattoos, a confetti launch, and a ball drop at 9 p.m.
Kids can enjoy a free meal while parents "shake off" the year before 2024 officially begins.
Royal Masquerade Ball at The Statler Dallas
The 8th annual Royal Masquerade Ball offers a luxurious way to ring in the new year.
Starting at 10 p.m., enjoy a night of champagne, an open bar, house-made cocktails, and a full casino.
Dance the night away to top hits while wearing your most mysterious mask.
