Cops: Couple in Kaufman used girl to steal liquor
KAUFMAN, Texas - Police in Kaufman are looking for two people who used a child to help them steal a bottle of liquor.
The Kaufman Police Department shared a photo of man holding who walked into the Crossroads Liquor store Friday. He was with a woman and carrying a child.
The woman distracted the clerk and the man took a bottle of cognac. He hid it under the little girl and walked out, police said.
The two drove away in a white Ford Expedition with chrome wheels.
