February FLIP on the way! Warm until then...

Today starts cool, but not as cold. Gusty south winds kick in PM to warm us into the 70s with sunshine.

Those winds stay strong into Saturday as we head into the mid 70s with mostly sunny skies.

There is a slight hiccup in the Sunday forecast...mainly for northern counties as a weak cold front will get through.

Highs still in the 70s Metro east and south, but may be closer to 70 or even upper 60s on the Red River (esp N & W).

Monday starts a little cooler, but should warm up as strong SSE winds develop PM. Highs will range from near 60 north to the 70s south.

A strong cold front sweeps through at night...although with limited moisture and lower temps...the best main storm chances will be in the evening...and mainly east.

By Tuesday, we start windy and cool...then stay there all day as a second polar cold front heads in PM. Temps may even fall into the 40s from the low 50s.

Mid-week will be chilly. Lows in the 20s and highs only 40s Wed and low 50s Thu.
