Not cooler, but fortunately not hotter either! And we'll throw in low rain chances. Hello weekend!
Humid south winds continue today however high above the ground...south winds will also pick up. That will allow slightly "cooler" (by one degree!) Gulf air to keep us in the mid 90s today with some PM clouds.
This weekend into Monday, a weak upper level low pressure system way above the ground heads into WEST TEXAS, so we'll get a few extra PM clouds along with very low shower chances (10%). High remain in the mid 90s. It's too far west to help us out more than that.
Next week looks more interesting. A stronger disturbance comes out of OK Tuesday with a better chance for storms (30%) with a pattern shift late week that MAY bring us a weak cold front to start July. That would also mean increased rain chances late week and possibly to start next weekend.
