Strong storms swept through the metroplex this morning. Damaging winds were the primary threat, with wind gusts recorded between 70 and 80 mph! Good news, although showers are continuing for the morning commute...sunshine and much warmer temps are back this afternoon. The quiet weather pattern persists through the weekend, with temps in the upper 50s making a return.
