Dallas weather: Chilly temps and rain return

After a taste of spring last week, North Texas is back to typical February weather with a chilly, wet week ahead.

Monday: Cold and Wet

Drizzle and light rain will persist throughout the day, with temperatures staying in the mid-40s. Expect overcast skies and plenty of moisture in the air.

Tuesday: Widespread Rain

A steady rain will move in, with most areas seeing up to an inch of precipitation. Temperatures will remain in the 40s. Rain will taper off after noon, but lingering clouds will keep conditions cool.

Mid-Week Weather

Another round of rain is expected late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with a chance of thunder. A strong cold front will bring gusty winds and dropping temperatures Wednesday into Thursday.

A freeze is likely Thursday morning, with wind chills in the teens. There’s also a slight chance of sleet, but little to no accumulation is expected. Highs will struggle to reach 40 degrees.

Valentine's Day Dallas Forecast

Wednesday looks quieter, with partly sunny skies and highs returning to the 50s—just in time for Valentine’s Day.
