ORIGINAL STORY - Police need your help to track down a 17-year-old they say is so dangerous that the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force has been searching for him for weeks.

Police say surveillance video shows the teen gunning down an unarmed 19-year-old man in the street last month as a school bus dove by. Witnesses on the street scattered. Detectives know who he is, but they don’t know where he is.

The suspect’s name is Jaqualyn Davis. In some places on the street, he's known by "Meniche." Police say the teenager pulled a gun and opened fire on another teen and also put others in jeopardy by firing his weapon as a school bus loaded with children passed by.

The shooting happened on June 15 in the middle of the afternoon in the 300 block of Groveview Drive.

“We had two groups of individuals,” said Detective Esteban Montenegro. “One group the suspect was in. The other group the victim was in.”

The group was caught by surveillance cameras at a nearby apartment complex. There was a total of 10 to 12 teens between the two groups. Some girls faced off.

“My victim kind of challenged the suspect to a fist fight,” Montenegro said.

The victim was 19-year-old Sedric Bradley the second. Investigators say the Sedrice and Jaqualyn had some kind of beef, but are not sure over what.

“And we'll never know until I talk to Jaqualyn Davis,” the detective said. “The suspect got to the street. My victim squared off on him. The suspect didn’t give him a chance. Took out a gun and shot multiple times.”

After the shooting, police say Jaqualyn ran through a nearby apartment complex and lost his sandals while running away.

“At the same time that shooting was going on, there was a vehicle right behind him and a DISD bus coming along with kids in it,” Montenegro said. “It is very disturbing. Nowadays, it looks like all these kids they have no regard for human life or safety. They just don’t think and they just act. So that makes him very, very dangerous.”

Montenegro hopes the public can help him find Jaqualyn.

“I would like to see the public and see the pictures see this broadcast so they can tell us where he's at, and we can bring him back to justice,” the detective said. “We're not gonna slow down. This is never gonna go away. One way or another, he's gonna come and see me.”

A $5,000 Crime Stoppers reward being is offered for the right phone call that tells Detective Montenegro where Jaqualyn "Meniche" Davis is. Call Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-8477.
