Suspect arrested shortly after fatal shooting Sunday morning in Dallas

DALLAS - A 38-year-old man was arrested by Dallas police after a fatal shooting Sunday morning.

Julio Gonzalez has been charged with murder in the case.

Police say the shooting happened at about 8 a.m., in the 4700 block of Hamilton Ave.

Investigators found that Gonzalez shot the victim during a fight.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

During an interview, police say Gonzalez admitted to the shooting.
