St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas imploded
UT Southwestern’s former St. Paul University Hospital was imploded Sunday morning.
The hospital, at 5909 Harry Hines Boulevard, was imploded at 8:00 a.m. It took less than 30 seconds for the building to crumble.
UT Southwestern bought the building about 15 years ago but it is no longer needed. The William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital took its place.
Traffic will be restricted in the area until 10:00 a.m.
