Robot now flips burgers for restaurant chain
A burger chain in Los Angeles now has a robot chef.
Caliburger has a human employee who makes and seasons the patties. But a robot nicknamed Flippy monitors their temperatures on the griddle, flips them and then places them on the bun.
The company said it has a hard time finding workers willing to do the low-paying, hot and dirty job.
The robot cost about $100,000 but never calls in sick.
