DALLAS - Dallas police need help finding the men behind a series of attacks in the Oak Lawn area over the past two months.
At least nine men have been robbed and assaulted. All were walking alone in public at night.
In two of the attacks a group of three black men knocked the victim to the ground. They punched and kicked the victim before stealing property.
One of the suspects was in his early 20s and weighed about 120 pounds. The other two were taller and bigger, maybe 6 feet tall and 185 pounds.
In a few of the other attacks the victims gave similar descriptions, but said the suspects appeared to be in their late 20s or early 30s.
Five of the attacks were committed by a group of two to four Hispanic men. In one of the cases they used a white Ford van.
Police released the general descriptions of the suspects with hopes that it will jog someone’s memory. They have not been able to find surveillance video or come up with composite sketches of the suspects.
The department has added more patrols in the largely gay community.
