Police chase burglary suspects in Plano

An early morning police chase ended with the arrests of three men.

The chase started in Plano around 4 a.m. Tuesday after a homeowner confronted the men trying to break into a vehicle.

One of the burglars pointed a gun at the homeowner and then sped away in a Jeep with two other men.

Police got involved and chased the men until they crashed into some bushes off the Central Expressway service road near Campbell Road.

The men took off running and tried to hide in the bushes. Police dogs helped officers find and catch all three a short time later.

They've been identified as 20-year-old Jesse Alvarez, 22-year-old Jose Fernandez and 24-year-old Branden Wilson.
