Carrollton police officer accused of soliciting prostitute in Plano

PLANO, Texas - A Carrollton police officer was arrested for solicitation of a prostitute in Plano.

Sgt. Muszaab Monier was arrested on Monday by Plano police. He was off duty at the time of the arrest.

No further details about the alleged crime were released.

Monier has been with the Carrolton Police Department since August 2021. He is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
