DFW back above freezing temperature after 139 hours at or below 32 degrees
DALLAS - Temperatures for much of North Texas are back above freezing after five straight days of temperatures below 32 degrees.
DFW reported 139 consecutive hours at or below 32, making it the 7th longest streak.
According to the National Weather Service, the record for DFW is 295 straight hours below freezing back in 1983.
