Dallas police say a mother of six may have been arguing with someone moments before her murder.

Marlese Arnett, 32, was shot to death on Thursday about 5:30 p.m. in a drive-by near John West Road and La Prada Drive in East Dallas on her way to her fiance's house. Arnett was alone in the car when the shooting happened.

Dallas police still have no suspects in the murder investigation, but the drive-by may have been the result of some sort of altercation between Arnett and the shooter.

Police said the suspect's car is an early 2000's model burgundy four-door-Jeep.

The family hopes anyone with information comes forward and contacts Dallas police. Arnett was a mother of six and a middle school cafeteria school worker.

“A heartless evil person had to have done this,” said mom Velma Burton.
