ALLEN, Texas - A popular mall Santa who passed away before Christmas will be remembered.
The Fairview Town Center said “The Big Guy” died after a medical emergency earlier this month.
He was a holiday tradition for many families in Allen. He stood in for Mr. Claus and took photos with children for more than 18 years.
His memorial service will be at 6 p.m. near the Christmas tree at The Village at Allen. Families are asked to share photos by sending them to thebigguymemorial@yahoo.com.
