McDonald's is bringing back a festive dessert item to its menu in certain U.S. cities.

The Holiday Pie, described as "the greatest gift to yourself," comes with custard in a "flaky, buttery crust" glazed with sugar and topped with rainbow sprinkles.

The 260-calorie treat is currently available at participating McDonald's restaurants, according to its website.

In a statement, McDonald’s confirmed to FOX Television Stations that the Holiday Pie is currently available "in select local markets including Seattle, Los Angeles, St. Louis, New York City, Cleveland, Dallas and more."

The Holiday Pie first made its debut in 1999, according to Reader’s Digest

Starbucks holiday drinks return with Refreshers

Meanwhile, other holiday menus have returned – including at Starbucks with its red cups. The coffee giant unveiled its new and returning holiday drinks and food earlier this month.

Some of the returning favorites include Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and various holiday cold foams. New this year is a trio of Starbucks drink refreshers that feature "a delicious combination of sweet orange and warm spices to complement the crisp cranberry taste."

The new refreshers include a Cran-Merry Orange Refresher, Cran-Merry Orange Lemonade Refresher, and a Cran-Merry Drink with creamy coconut milk.
