Mansfield baby born during eclipse named Sol
MANSFIELD, Texas - A baby born at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center during a once-in-a-lifetime eclipse has a fitting name.
Sol Celeste Alvarez was born at 1:04 p.m. on Monday.
Sol is the Spanish word for sun.
Her mom, Alicia, says the baby was due next week.
The 6 pound, 7 ounce baby girl has a 4-year-old sister named Luna.
Both mother and baby are said to be doing well.
Congrats to the Alvarez family!
