Lightning strike causes Springtown oil tank fire
SPRINGTOWN, Texas - A lightning strike may have sparked the fire at an oil facility in Springtown, northwest of Fort Worth.
The fire started before dawn along the Parker and Wise County line.
There are about 14 tanks at the facility. Photos from FOX 4 viewer Kirby Hughes show them now engulfed in flames with lots of smoke.
There were no reports of injuries.
A few people who live nearby were evacuated.
