Man stabbed at Lewisville birthday party; suspect charged with murder

LEWISVILLE, Texas - Lewisville police arrested a 24-year-old man in connection to a deadly stabbing at a birthday party.

What we know:
Police were called to a report of gunshots at an apartment on Uecker Drive shortly after 5 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11.
When officers arrived at the scene they found a 28-year-old victim with a stab wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital he died.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the victim as as Randrik Prieto Rubio of Utah.
Roger Jesus Herrera Rodriguez, 24, was arrested and charged with murder.
What we don't know:
Police are still working to determine the events that led up to the stabbing.
