There will be several highway closures this weekend that may disrupt people’s driving plans.

The Texas Department of Transportation will close various lanes of Highway 75 between Royal and Forest lanes in North Dallas on Friday.

Work is expected to continue on the bridge connector for the Northhaven Trail Project until 8 p.m. Friday.

There will be additional overnight closures on Hwy. 75 next week.

Also beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, westbound Interstate 20 will be shut down at Loop 820 in southeast Tarrant County.

I-20 traffic will be detoured to northbound Loop 820 for work on the Southeast Connector Project until 10 a.m. Saturday.

Southbound Business 287 at I-20 will also be closed during this time and the existing westbound I-20 ramp to Business 287 will be permanently closed.

All northbound and southbound lanes of the LBJ Freeway will be shut down Saturday night through Sunday morning at Oates Drive in the Mesquite area.

Drivers will be detoured onto the frontage roads.

And in Rockwall, eastbound and westbound Interstate 30 will be closed at Dalrock Road from 9 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday.

The construction and detours will also close part of Dalrock Road.

The weather could affect these construction plans.
