I-35E reopens after construction near Dallas Zoo
DALLAS - All lanes are now open on Interstate 35E, near the Dallas Zoo, after crews worked on two Oak Cliff overpasses.
Partial bridge removal was scheduled Friday night at Marsalis Avenue and bridge beams were set on the northbound side of 8th Street.
This was part of the Texas Department of Transportation's $666 million Southern Gateway project.
Crews closed the highway Friday night and reopened it on Saturday, October 13 around 1 p.m.
