1 killed, 4 injured on I-20 in apparent road rage crash in Parker County, authorities say

One person was killed, and four others were injured in what authorities are investigating as a road rage crash on Interstate 20 in Parker County Thursday morning.

What We Know: The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly crash that happened on Interstate 20 in Parker County Thursday morning as a possible road rage incident.

Troopers said a 2000 Honda CRV was entering the eastbound side of the highway near mile marker 414 just before 9 a.m. Thursday.

They said the CRV entered the highway in front of another vehicle which went around the CRV and slowed down in front of the CRV quickly causing the CRV to swerve to avoid a collision before losing control and rolling into the westbound lanes.

The driver and two passengers were ejected from the vehicle. One of those passengers died at the scene.

The victim was identified as 33-year-old Cosme Espinoza, from Lancaster.

The driver and three other passengers were all taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Troopers said witnesses saw the driver of the second vehicle get out of the vehicle and look at the victims before driving away.

What We Don't Know: Troopers are looking for the driver of the second vehicle, a light gray Jeep Wrangler.

The driver is described as a man in his late 40s-early 50s, around 220 pounds and around 6 feet tall.

Troopers said the man was described by witnesses as being dressed casually in "upper middle class" clothing.
