H-E-B marks 120 years with sweepstakes offering free groceries for a year to 120 Texans

H-E-B is celebrating 120 years in the Lone Star State by giving away an entire year's worth of free groceries to 120 Texans.

What we know:

The San Antonio-based grocery store chain announced the sweepstakes during its Super Bowl commercial, titled "Lots to Love", set to a song featuring country music artist and Amarillo native Aaron Watson.

Every day from Monday, Feb. 10 to Monday, June 9, customers can enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win.

There will be one winner chosen each day, for a total of 120 winners.

What you can do:

H-E-B customers can enter using the same barcode they use to access coupons and offers in the My H-E-B mobile app. To access that barcode, customers will need to download the My H-E-B mobile app, available on iOS and Android, and create an account.

Customers who scan their barcode at the register will receive an automatic entry into the sweepstakes.

Customers and mail-in entrants can enter once per day through June 9. Winners will be randomly selected and notified via email. H-E-B Partners and members of their immediate family and household are not eligible to win.

Official rules, a complete prize description and additional ways to enter are available here.

What they're saying:

"At H-E-B, we are deeply humbled and grateful to have served communities across Texas for 120 years. We couldn’t have made it this far without the support of our amazing customers," said Ashwin Nathan, H-E-B Group vice president of marketing. "As a people company with a mission to serve all Texans, we wanted to go big with this milestone, and what better way to do it than by celebrating our amazing customers who have been by our side throughout the years and continue to support us every day."
