Grapevine BBQ restaurant destroyed in fire

GRAPEVINE, Texas - A fire burned through the roof of a restaurant in Grapevine early Monday morning.

The Baker’s Ribs restaurant on Highway 26 at Bass Pro Drive near Grapevine Mills Mall caught fire around 3 a.m.

Firefighters found heavy fire when they arrived. Smoke could be seen from quite a distance away.

No one was hurt but the building will likely be a total loss.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
