Grand Prairie shooting kills 16-year-old, police looking for suspects
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - Grand Prairie police are looking for the suspect or suspects involved in a deadly shooting on Saturday.
What We Know: Police were called to Silverardo Trail, not far from the President George Bush Turnpike and Arkansas Trail, shortly after 1 a.m.
The first responders found 16-year-old Destiny Eweka in the street with apparent gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Grand Prairie Police say the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting ran from the scene and have not been located.
Investigators believe there was "high-risk activity" when the shooting happened.
