Gift of Lights drive-thru lights up Texas Motor Speedway

Texas Motor Speedway is lit up for the holidays.

The Gift of Lights drive-thru opened Thursday at the racetrack in North Fort Worth.

More than two million lights lined the roads. This year's display included Santa's Village.

Those who drove thru the display said it definitely got them in the Christmas Spirit.

"This is our first time here, and we wanted to do a new tradition for Thanksgiving this year," said Shae Pierce. "So we went camping and found a lot of Christmas things to do."

"People are still starting to come back out again, so this is a great way to do it with family and friends and just have a good time," said David Hart with TMS.

The Gift of Lights runs through Jan. 2.

Tickets are $35 per car and $60 for buses and limousines.

Some of the money goes to Speedway Children's Charities - Texas Chapter.
