FULL: Fort Worth's Fourth Fireworks Show 2024

Thousands of people showed up to Panther Island Pavilion for a chance to see the fireworks at Fort Worth's Fourth and they didn't disappoint.

80 to 90 thousand people made the trip to Panther Island Pavilion for Fort Worth's Fourth on Thursday night.

Gates opened at 5 p.m., but the big fireworks show at the end of the night was the star of the show.

The show was meticulously planned and prepared months ahead of time.

The whole show was timed out and basically went off with the push of a button.

This year's show went off without a hitch.

"It’s the best show in DFW, in my opinion. I’ve seen the show 8 years in a row and it’s amazing," said Jordan Warnement.

Organizers had protocols to make sure the grass nearby was watered to prevent any fires from breaking out.

80,000+ enjoy Fort Worth's Fourth

More than 80,000 people were on hand to see one of the biggest fireworks shows in North Texas on Thursday night.

Before the sun went down there were musical performances and people brought their tubes to cool off from the triple-digit heat in the Trinity River.

"It’s just awesome to support local businesses too, and local artists. There’s a community feel. Kids running around. It’s a special day," said Angela Gonzaga.
