Son attacks, shoots father after argument, Fort Worth police say
FORT WORTH, Texas - A man was cut in the back of the head and shot by his adult son after the two got in an argument Friday night, according to Fort Worth police.
This was reported to police just after 10 p.m. when officers, who were called to the 3400 block of Meadowbrook Drive for a separate call, were flagged down by someone reporting a domestic disturbance.
Officers found a man who had a "severe laceration" to the back of his head and who had been shot in the leg.

The investigation found the man had been in an argument with his adult son, which turned into a fight.
The father got a large cut to the head, before police said the son pulled out a gun and shot his father in the leg.
The son was detained by officers, while his father was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The names of those involved were not released as police continue their investigation.
