Fort Worth motorcycle rider killed in crash

A motorcycle rider in Fort Worth was killed after a crash on Monday night.

Fort Worth police say the crash happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Sandshell Boulevard, not far from Western Center Boulevard in the northern part of the city.

Police say a witness told them that a Mazda was exiting an apartment complex, but stopped before entering the roadway.

The Kawasaki motorcycle driver, which was traveling on Sandshell at high speeds, lost control and slid into the Mazda.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released any information about the victim.

The driver of the Mazda remained on scene and spoke with officers.
