Fire damages home in White Rock area of Dallas

A family escaped a fast moving fire that ripped through part of their home in the White Rock area of Dallas on Sunday.

When firefighters arrived just after 2 a.m., flames were shooting out of the roof of the home near Guss

Thomasson and Garland Roads.

Investigators said they will spend the day sifting through the damage to determine cause.
