Fiery crash in Dallas leaves one person dead, two others injured
DALLAS - Dallas County Sheriff's Office deputies said one person is dead and two others are injured after a pickup truck crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler early Saturday morning.
It happened on northbound Loop 12, at the NW Highway exit, at about 3:45 a.m.

According to deputies, the driver of the pickup exited the freeway and rear ended the 18-wheeler.
The pickup truck caught fire shortly after the crash.
There were three people inside the pickup. Two were able to get out, but deputies said the third person inside was pinned in the front passenger seat. That person was pronounced dead after the truck went up in flames.
The condition of the two survivors is unknown.
No injuries were reported from the 18-wheeler.
The investigation into this crash is continuing.
