Family writes Mother's Day letter to Missy Bevers' killer
MIDLOTHIAN, Texas - The family of a woman murdered two weeks ago hopes to shame the killer into surrendering.
Two weeks ago Missy Bevers’ mother-in-law wrote a letter to her killer on Facebook. Over the weekend she penned another one. This time she urged the killer to turn him or herself in, saying it’s just a matter of time before police make an arrest.
Bevers was killed three weeks ago inside a Midlothian church. The fitness instructor suffered puncture wounds to her chest and head. Surveillance video shows a suspect wearing what appears to be SWAT gear wandering through the church before the murder.
