Election latest: Biden, Trump will meet in Oval Office next week

In the latest election news, the White House said Saturday that President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump will meet next week in the Oval Office.

Such a meeting is traditional between the outgoing and incoming president, though Trump did not host Biden four years ago.

The meeting was set to take place Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Here are other updates from the election to happen this weekend:

Nevada called for Trump

The Associated Press called the swing state of Nevada for Trump early Saturday morning, three days after the election.

Trump, of course, did not need the state’s 6 electoral votes to help decide his victory, but it brought him one step closer to sweeping all seven of the swing states.

The last remaining state to be called still is Arizona.

The Republicans won control of the U.S. Senate early Wednesday.
