Driver in stolen truck flees deadly Johnson County crash

CLEBURNE, Texas - State troopers are looking for a hit-and-run driver after a fatal accident Wednesday night in Cleburne, south of Fort Worth.

The Texas Highway Patrol said it happened around 6:30 p.m. Two trucks collided head-on on FM 1434, which is a two-lane road in Johnson County.

The driver of the white Ford Ranger pickup died in the crash. He has been identified as 26-year-old Danny Clements.

The driver of the second vehicle, a black Dodge pickup, ran away. That second truck was reported stolen in Oklahoma.

Troopers are still investigating the crash and looking for the hit-and-run driver.
