Trackdown: Help find Downtown Dallas shooter
DALLAS - On this week's Trackdown, homicide detectives are looking for the suspect who they say shot and killed a man in Downtown Dallas earlier this month.
What We Know: Didier Orea, 20, was shot and killed in the 400 block of North Harwood Street, between Bryan Street and Live Oak Street, on December 14.
Detectives say Orea was meeting a friend in the parking lot and on his way back to his apartment complex he got into an altercation with an unknown man.
Video shows the suspect running from the scene and then walking.
He then enters a downtown convenience store where security cameras caught his face.
What We Don't Know: Police have not identified the suspect at this time.
They believe anyone who knows the suspect will be able to identify him based on the photos and his mannerisms.
What They're Saying: Detective Michael Christian says he is bothered by the shooting.
"It was in broad daylight on a Saturday afternoon, anybody could've been hit," Det. Christian said. "I need somebody to identify this person so I can bring justice to the family."
