DPD: Man killed in hotel shooting

DALLAS --  A man was killed after a shooting at a hotel in Old East Dallas. The shooter is still on the run.

Police responded to a shooting at the Best Western along North Central Expressway and Fitzhugh Ave. around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night.

Investigators said a group of people got into a fight and one person pulled a gun and opened fire, hitting a man who died at the hospital. The shooter ran from the scene.
