Ingredients:
- 6 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup butter, unsalted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon cloves
- 4 teaspoon ginger
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup molasses
- 2 eggs
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Sift flour, baking soda, and baking powder together - set aside.
3. Using a mixer, thoroughly cream the butter and sugar.
4. Add the spices and salt to the butter mixture and blend.
5. Add the remaining ingredients and combine.
6. On low speed, slowly add flour mixture until combined.
7. Divide the dough into three parts.
8. Wrap and chill.
9. Roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thick.
10. Cut with a cookie cutter & place on prepared baking sheets.
11. Bake until the cookies look crisp, about 20 minutes.
12. Cool, decorate and enjoy!
**Store in a Tupperware container for up to 1 week**
