Dallas shooting: Man found dead on northwest Dallas sidewalk

DALLAS - Police are investigating after a man was found dead in northwest Dallas.

Shortly after 1:10 a.m. on Saturday morning, Dallas police found an unresponsive man on the sidewalk of Bolivar Drive.

Investigators realized he had been shot.

The man, later identified as 27-year-old Sofonias Eduardo Gonzalez Morgan, died at the scene.

The case is being investigated as a homicide.
