Dallas location of Carlo's Bakery, from 'Cake Boss', to open March 19
The New Jersey-based bakery featured on the hit TV show Cake Boss will open its Dallas location next month.
Carlo’s Bakery will debut its first Texas store in Preston Center on March 19, according to the Dallas Morning News. Long lines are expected when doors open that Saturday morning.
The Dallas site will be the thirteenth location of Carlo’s Bakery, with most located in New Jersey and New York. Carlo’s family members have been in Dallas the past few days checking out progress on the bakery’s construction. They also attended a Dallas Mavericks game.
"We've seen incredible growth in the past year and I'm so excited Dallas is going to be a part of that!" said ‘Cake Boss’ Buddy Valastro in a statement in January.
Customers in Dallas will be able to order custom cakes in addition to single items like cannoli’s, cookies and other items.
Carlo’s Bakery was opened in 1910, but became famous thanks to the TLC show Cake Boss, which is currently in its seventh season.
The bakery will be located in the 8300 block of Preston Road and previously was the site of a La Madeline.
