The 2016 grand champion steer at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo was sold at the Sale of Champions Saturday morning for $210,000.
Hillwood Properties bought the 1300 pound steer named “Big Boy”.
He was raised by 14-year-old Jagger Horn, who is from Abilene.
Last year’s grand champion went for a record-breaking $240,000.
The 2016 reserve champion sold for $175,000.
